Fantastic company and people - highly recommend them! We selected them to do a full re-do of our backyard - removing a 40-year old patio and renovating the pool and decking. The end result is exceptional. The pool was completely re-plumbed, replastered and new tile and coping installed as well as new pool equipment. The new patio is a beautiful textured concrete with brushed ribbons. The flagstone steps and trim match the concrete perfectly. Shaun and his team were 100% professional during the entire process. We had significant rain delays, but they kept moving forward on the project. They kept everything clean and organized during the project, and were always on time. We had a couple of additional items that we added to the project as it progressed, and Shaun was prompt with updated estimates. There were no unexpected costs during the project; Shaun's original estimate was very accurate and even identified those items we had to handle separately (e.g., permits). We loved their work so much that we are now having them give us a quote for our frontyard hardscape. If you are looking for high quality, professional, timeless workmanship, these are the people you want.

Shaun and his team did an amazing job in our back yard. From demo through final hardscape, he communicated with us through out. His crew were exceptional, timely and polite. Additionally he helped us find landscapers and carpenters, and made sure pricing was fair. He helped us create the design and we are thrilled with the final product

I have been in the construction field since 05 May 1977 and in working with Epik, their personnel, their subs has been the best experience. Their attention to the concerns of the homeowner(especially letting the homeowner know if the Homeowners idea will not meet the expectations) is a refreshing concept. I have already recommended this company to friends. As I procure rentals and upgrade the hard scape, I will look nowhere else but Epik. One more item, their (and their subcontractors) honesty is second to no one.

We highly recommend Epik Masonry for both pool and hardscape work. They build a beautiful rectangular pool with an attached spa using limestone coping and great color choices. They hardscaped the area surrounding the pool and created a gorgeous wall with natural stone. The project ran smoothly from start to finish and we could not be happier with Erik's great taste, skill, wonderful employees, knowledge, and easy going personality

Sean and his crew were exemplary! They were professional, knowledgeable, courteous and finished the job on-time. Having been in the trades I know how difficult it can be to keep a time line at times, but Sean and his crew started and finished right on schedule.
They never cut corners, were always accessible and went above and beyond to do a good job and to keep the site organized. I would recommend them to anyone requiring hardscape design and all that comes with it.

I hired Epik Masonry to transform my average track home back yard into a area that I could relax and enjoy and they delivered a high quality and functional oasis that exceeded my expectation .
My wish list included a build in BBQ, a outdoor fireplace, decking and some planters to match and fit in with some of the existing landscape. They were able to include all of what I was looking for and lay it out in a way that blended well and looked amazing! No details were overlooked and the ideas that they came up with and added to the project truly added a style that I am pleased with.

I can't say enough good things about Epik Masonry and its owner, Shaun Loughlin. We built a new home in Santa Barbara with very sophisticated masonry work, requiring great precision and coordination of stone on house walls, retaining walls and staircases. Shaun worked closely with our architect and contractor to devise solutions on many design and engineering issues, and his team then did a superb job on installing the stone. He was on-time and on-budget, and kept us all informed of any issues on a timely basis. Shaun loves what he does and this passion is reflected in the quality of Epik's work. We felt very lucky to have him on our team.

Epik Masonry did a fantastic job of updating our backyard hardscape. They added a spa to our existing pool, resurfaced the pool, added new pool equipment, built a bbq and bar area and installed new stone coping and steps, and new concrete stamped paving. We hired Epik after receiving several bids that didn't completely describe or price the work to be done. Epik's owner, Shaun Loughlin, is the other reason we hired Epik. I am blessed to have found Epik Masonry & Concrete. Shaun quoted me a very fair price. The old tile on my patio was lifting and needed to be replaced. The work is magnificent, I couldn't be happier. A bit of extra work was needed, but Shaun said he would stand by his quote.
The guys showed up on time every day and were very nice. I will definitely use Epik Mansonry again.

Selecting Epik Masonry for our exterior hardscape, chimneys and interior fireplaces was a no brainer. One look at the Sean's portfolio confirmed my suspicion. Epik is as good as it gets. Professional, prompt, competitive and creative. Epik Masonry created a stone veneer on existing concrete wall. We couldn't believe it was the same wall. They also created a custom fabricated limestone fireplace surrounds. Even our architect friend mentioned how meticulous the corners were matched. Sean and his team are extremely professional and focused. He competes in project estimation, but over-delivers in quality, and project completion. We highly recommend Sean and Epic Masonry, and hope to use his company again in the future.
I am a project manager for custom homes in the Santa Barbara, Montecito and Ventura County areas of California. I have worked with Shaun Laughlin, owner of Epik Masonry since 2002 on many custom homes. Epik Masonry has provided my clients with custom designed fireplaces, mantels, outdoor kitchens, BBQ's, pizza ovens, exterior stone veneer and brick, as well as driveways, walkways, fountains, steps, and walls.
